DJ Kool V was born raised in Lynchburg, VA. He has been in the DJing industry for 35 plus years and he was fourteen when he started. Already having a love for the game, he started DJing when he started to with his older brother. DJ Kool V followed influencers such as but not limited to Grand Master J, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Cash Money. After following their careers, he kind of molded DJing into something that could fit his own personal skills.
For some of DJ Kool V’s many accomplishments was him having the ability to DJ about anywhere just about up and down the east coast. States as VA, SC, GA, Maryland, and DC. With this travel experience it was able to teach him to learn what people like. The different genres of music, things are just different in different areas. It is different from city to city. The mainstream stuff is the same and go to DC they got their Gogo set. I would go a day early if another state and go to a club and do some homework. Its not just turning your tables and you must learn a little bit more than that.
Lastly, DJ Kool V just has a love for any DJ coming up. His worst nightmare is that he does not want this art form today, even though sometimes he thought it would. Coming from the 80s it was the focal point of hip-hop. Always willing to help and mentor upcoming DJs and teach them about the industry. One day he hopes to get more females involved in the industry.

Brittany Boswell aka “DJ BosWellOnMyBaq“, 32 years old, Lunenburg County native. I have been entertainer ALL my life. The only and baby girl of the family, and an Aries, I was destined to stand out!! I’ve been Doing since I was 15, but actually considered it as a job in 2016, where I played off a tablet, a mixer, and speakers!!
A lot of people ask how I came up with BOSWELLONMYBAQ, real quick, BAQ is pronounced as BACK and you know how people names are on the back if jerseys, well there you go BOSWELL ON MY BACK aka BOOM!!!!! I purchased my first DJ controller in 2018 and things got real (Shoutout to my wife, Iesha for putting up with my indecisiveness because I quit Doing every month after the purchase)! In 2020, I joined forces with Timyarn B. aka DJ Benjamminit as part of NOSleepDjs! I have an amazing support system, but Timyarn is the pusher that keeps me on my toes!! No matter the size or type of event my goal is to make EVERYONE feel my vibes! I love to have a good time, and after EVERY event my crowd gotta have that same energy! I love being slept on because I’, a female, gives that motivation to STAND OUT and get ya woke!!
Tell a friend to tell a friend—- TO BOOK ME CUZ THAT GIRL B.O.M.B FIRE!!!
