The time for R&B is far from over! This young man is bringing back a soulful and smooth sound with heart-felt emotion behind every lyric voiced in his music. 25-year-old, Shaun Milli is the next new upcoming R&B artist.

Milli is from a small town in Edgefield, South Carolina. At the age of 12 his family had him singing in church, which is where he found his love for singing and song writing. After noticing his passion for singing Shaun, at 17-years-old, started recording and making his own music. Prior to recording, he would go and purchase cassette tapes to record himself on a stereo while making beats and perfecting his craft.

As an upcoming artist Shaun tried out for American Idol 3 years in a row and each time it did not work out. Being resilient and focus driven on his dream he never stopped working and dreaming of being the artist that he wanted to become. Until one late night, Shaun drops a song called Love Me” on social media platform known as TikTok and turns into an overnight sensation hitting a million views!

Artist Shaun Milli could not believe how viral his song went. “I couldn’t believe it. Where I am from, most people don’t usually go viral but it just felt good” said Shaun. The belief of going viral is unimaginable, especially when writing music.

“See, I ain’t got that much time left” is the first line to “Love Me” by Shaun Milli and each word is vocalized with power and soul. “When I first heard the beat, I knew then that this song had to be slow, and it had to be soulful,” said Shaun. From then, he made this wrote this song off that one line and produced a hit.

The next steps for Shaun are to keep making more music, pushing out what he has out now, and enjoying the ride.
